Writing new bluegrass songs as a woman is essential to ensure the style endures for future generations. After all, the standard tunes that make up the repertoire are often written for male voices by men. So Caroline achieved her dream of having her own string band, and now hopes to establish herself artistically within the bluegrass scene.
